The Cultural Community Centers are artistic social spaces of meetings, social interaction, and training. At the end of 2007 and the beginning of 2008, the two historical centers of Crear Vale la Pena, Puertas al Arte and Joven Creativo, have experienced a significant change: an assembly of teachers, young people, and neighbors has taken over the task of running the centers by themselves, through the creation of a new Civil Asociation which they called “Engranajes,” or “gears assembly” by means of which they will be defining their own present and future.
